Dr. Judith Monterrey
Dr. Judith Monterrey established Creative Toothwork in 2014 with the goal of offering personalized dental care in Kendall, Miami, built on trust, comfort, and long-term relationships. Her approach focuses on creating a more approachable dental experience, where patients feel genuinely listened to and cared for throughout their treatment.
She emphasizes clear communication and individualized attention, taking the time to understand each patient’s needs in order to develop tailored treatment plans that support lasting oral health and confident smiles, whether in preventive, cosmetic, or restorative dentistry.
Dr. Monterrey earned her dental degree from the University of Havana in 1995 and later completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry in 2011. She also completed a General Practice Residency at Jersey City Medical Center, where she gained advanced clinical training in oral rehabilitation, dental emergencies, and implant dentistry.
With more than 29 years of experience, she continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education and training, staying current with modern dentistry techniques in Miami while maintaining a warm, patient-focused style of care.
Dr. Joel O. Figueredo
Dr. Joel Figueredo joined Creative Toothwork in 2018 and brings more than 30 years of dental experience. He is committed to providing patient-centered dental care in Kendall, Miami, with a strong emphasis on trust, communication, and long-term relationships with his patients.
Dr. Figueredo believes in a close and personal approach to dentistry, taking the time to listen, understand concerns, and clearly explain every treatment option. This allows him to design customized dental treatment plans that fit each patient’s needs and goals, from preventive care to restorative and advanced dental treatments.
He earned his dental degree from Camagüey University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and later graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2009. He also served in the United States Army Dental Corps, where he achieved the rank of Captain and was deployed to Afghanistan.
With a background that includes experience as a dental assistant and ongoing continuing education, Dr. Figueredo stays current with modern dentistry in Miami and advanced clinical techniques. At Creative Toothwork, he contributes to the practice’s mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care with a human touch.
