Porcelain Veneers in Kendall, Miami
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth to change their color, shape, size or proportion. At Creative Toothwork in West Kendall, Dr. Judith Monterrey designs every veneer case around your face, your smile line and your goals, so the result looks like your own teeth on their best day, not like a row of identical caps.
Your first consultation is free. We look at your teeth and gums, talk about what you want to change, and tell you honestly whether veneers are the right option or whether something simpler, like whitening, bonding or clear aligners, would get you there.

What veneers can fix
- Stains that whitening can't remove, including deep or internal discoloration.
- Chipped, worn or uneven edges.
- Small gaps between front teeth.
- Teeth that look too short, too small or out of proportion.
- Mildly crooked or rotated teeth, when you prefer not to go through orthodontic treatment.
Is it veneers, bonding or whitening?
Not every smile needs veneers. We always start with the most conservative option that will give you the result you want:
- Teeth whitening if the shape of your teeth is fine and you only want them brighter.
- Dental bonding for small chips or gaps on one or two teeth.
- Clear aligners if the main problem is crowding or spacing. Sometimes we straighten first and then add veneers, which lets us keep more of your natural tooth. Learn about clear aligners.
- Porcelain veneers when you want to change color and shape together, or want a longer-lasting, stain-resistant result.
The veneer process at Creative Toothwork
- Consultation and exam. A complete exam with digital X-rays and AI-assisted analysis (Overjet), so we make sure your teeth and gums are healthy before any cosmetic work.
- Smile design. We take digital 3D scans with our intraoral scanner (no messy molds) and plan the shape, length and shade of each veneer with you.
- Preparation. We remove only a thin layer of enamel, as little as your case allows. You leave with temporary veneers so you can try the new look.
- Placement. Your custom porcelain veneers are checked for fit, color and bite, then bonded in place.
Most cases take two to three visits over a few weeks. See the technology we use.
Caring for your veneers
Brush twice a day, floss, and keep your regular cleanings. Avoid biting very hard objects like ice or pens. If you grind your teeth at night, we may recommend a night guard to protect your veneers. With good care, porcelain veneers can last many years.
Frequently asked questions
Do veneers look natural? Yes, when they are designed well. We match the shape and shade to your face and to the teeth around them, and you see and approve the design before the final veneers are made.
Do veneers damage my teeth? Traditional porcelain veneers require removing a thin layer of enamel, and that step is not reversible. That is why we only recommend them when they are the right option, and we keep preparation as conservative as possible.
Does getting veneers hurt? Most patients feel little to no discomfort. We use local anesthesia during preparation, and some patients feel mild sensitivity for a few days.
How many veneers do I need? It depends on your smile. Some patients need one or two to fix a chipped or discolored tooth; others choose six to ten to change the teeth that show when they smile. We'll show you the options during your consultation.
How much do veneers cost? The cost depends on how many veneers you need and on your case. After your free consultation we give you an exact price before you start. Cosmetic veneers are usually not covered by dental insurance, and we offer payment plans.
Can I whiten my veneers later? No. Porcelain does not change color with whitening. If you want whiter teeth overall, we whiten your natural teeth first and then match the veneers to that new shade.
